About Jkander’s blog

My blog is intended to be a window into the often-hectic life I lead. I will use the proverbial quote from the film Mission Impossible, “Your mission, should you choose to accept it” as the theme for my blog. Each week, I will share my story of how I complete a “mission.” My missions can range from those that are self-imposed—such as “Where to find the perfect outfit for a friend’s birthday party?,” to those that are dictated by my boss, “Plan and execute a successful corporate fundraising event.”

My audience is attended to be anyone who finds themselves confronted by various “tasks” throughout each and every day. Some of these tasks are grueling, some are boring and others are just plain fun. My goal is to connect with my key audience by showing them how I solve my problems on a daily basis. While I will give accurate and (hopefully) helpful insight into how I work through potential challenges, my hope is for my blog to be an entertaining account of things I do to accomplish my “daily” missions.

Each post will begin with the “mission” and then I will detail my steps that I have taken in order to solve the problem. I am hopeful that my audience will find my blog informative, relatable, and most importantly, enjoyable.
